STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES
AND WORK

Since 1975, ENVIRONMENT ASSOCIATES Architects and Consultants has been committed to providing services for those seeking superior living environments.

Our credentials include being an advisor to both the Governor's and the Texas Energy Advisory Councils, a founder of both the Houston and the Texas Solar Energy Societies, the architects for the Southern Solar Energy Center's "Houston's Passive Solar Demonstration Home;" and the honor of receiving the
Houston Audubon Society's 1993 "Hershey Conservation Award."

Striving to set new architectural standards through our design and consulting services, seminars and workshops, we have created and popularized aesthetic and technical solutions that work for various climates. Having designed traditional and contemporary homes, buildings, remodeling, and their sites throughout Texas and surrounding states and from coast to coast, we have proven that our clients' projects are very energy efficient and cost-effective to build.

Due to ethical conflict of interest issues that we believe are not in the best interest of the homeowner, we do not: accept commissions from those whose products and /or services merit their referral to our clients; pay commissions for referral of clients to us; or engage in design/build type services that combine design services with construction contracting.

As when we began our practice over 25 years ago, we remain committed to eliminating the needless, senseless waste of resources. Through the careful employment of proven climate-based, sustainable "green" architecture concepts, healthy building expertise, and appropriate construction documents, we have demonstrated time after time that highly attractive, practical, healthy, and nurturing environments can be created for wherever our clients, live, work, or play.
